Why does Firefox constantly request login for my second shop?

Hi dear all,

 

we're experiencing annoying issues when we open new tabs to look at our orders. The Firefox browser constantly requests a new login and the pages keep reloading over and over. This also happens when we go into the settings section for the markets etc. It only happens in Firefox (which we need to keep for several reasons), and it only happens in one of our two shops which is even more weird. The first shop is running smoothly. Can this be theme-related? I doubt it since this is clearly a backend issue, but I have no clue...

 

Does anyone else face those problems?

 

Resetting / cleaning the cache etc. in Firefox didn't help 😞

I understand that you're experiencing an issue with one of your stores, and Firefox keeps on requesting you to login or reloading the page when you're trying to view orders or Shopify Markets. Since clearing the browser's caches didn't help resolve the issue and the issue doesn't occur with other browsers, then you may need to review your extensions on Firefox. 

 

If you're unable to identify the issue, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve the issue. However, if we're unable to replicate the problem using Firefox, then it could be a localized issue on your device. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to further assist you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.

 

Once you've resolved the login/reloading issue, I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?

Dear Elias,

 

thank you for getting back to us! The issues are like you repeated; I can also say that no Firefox extensions have been added or changed / updated (I don't even think we've installed any) and that the problems occour on several computers which means they can't be hardware related (plus, the problems started on several machines at the same time).

 

I'll request support and give you guys access to our account.

I understand that you're having the same issue. Just to confirm, are you also experiencing the issue on Firefox? If so, then does clearing the browser's caches help resolve the problem?

 

If the problem continues to persist, then it's possible that the issue is with the current version of Firefox and it may be worthwhile switching to Google Chrome for the time being. Google Chrome is also one of our supported browsers and it may work better for you until the issue with Firefox is resolved. That being said, you can also get in touch with us in order for us to take a closer look at your account. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to start a support request.

Hello,

 

the same issue here. We cannot even print delivery notes any more.

Same for us. Different Computers, all windows (11 and 10) with Firefox. It works on none of them. I can install firefox on a fresh system in a VM and the error still occurs. I am currently using chrome but I would really like to use firefox.

Same here with latest firefox ask login every minute, no extensions installed
