Why does merging two products show 0 stock in my online store?

Hello,

I am currently running into issues when I merged my two products into one, and now it shows up as 0 in stock. But my two separate products still show having X amount in them. So when it shows up in the shopify store it shows out of stock and unable to purchase. I haven't removed or archived the other two yet, so those are still part of the store - but I would like to merge them together so that they are all in one, since they are essentially the same products just different shippers.

this is because you created a new product with different product and variant id. The product that you created is different from the one's already there. 

if you want to merge these product than you need to use some app that can merge the products and then create a dynamic product that track the inventory of old products.Thanks

Hello @arshia_sheikh thank you for the reply! Is there any app that you can recommend that can assist in what I am trying to do? Also how would I create a dynamic product that will keep track of the old products?
