Why does my digital download redirect customers back to the store?

I already uploaded the item for a digital download. The customer is able to purchase it when they receive the link to click on your purchase for download they are automatically sent back to my store for the download. How do I fix this? My store is scheduled for relaunch tomorrow and I am really nervous because this is my main rollout feature.
