Why does my website always show 'under development' on Shopify?

My website always says under development when I try to test if it is working. I have already spoke to my domain provider and it is not their problem, it is a Shopify problem. How do I fix this?

• Can you walk me through the steps you're taking to test your storefront? Are you visiting your domain directly when you see this message?
• Do you have a screenshot showing the message you see? If you're comfortable sharing your domain I can take a look at what I see on my end as well.

I can't be certain without more information, but it sounds like you may still have your password page enabled on your account. You can double check this by going to Online store > Preferences. In the Restrict store access section, find the setting Restrict access to visitors with the password. If this is enabled, this means all visitors will see a password page similar to the one in the example below.
