I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered this issue but apparently Shopify has removed a number of legacy payment provider accounts. We happen to be using one of those payment providers and aside from a pop-up notification stating that our payment gateway would be deactivated, there was no other information or guidance provided. There were no follow up emails, the support staff did not seem to be aware of this change, and there is still no information in the changelog regarding this We are in a regulated industry that limits our options for payment providers (that includes Shopify payments). When we reached out to Shopify support, they did not share any information regarding the change made on their end and directed us to contact our payment provider. Now we are unable to process any orders because our payment provider is waiting on Shopify to approve their new integration piece. If there is any ETA on when Shopify will complete their approvals, it would be appreciated as we are trying to run a business. It is disappointing to see the lack of transparency around changes that directly impact your customer's ability to function (like collecting payments).
