Hey, @Multiwood! Welcome to Shopify Community!
In order for a domain to be connected to your store and be functional, it has to have the following DNS records:
@
23.227.38.65
www
shops.myshopify.com
Have you checked and ensured that your domain has these? Since it's not working properly, there's a likelihood it doesn't have the right DNS records. It's best that we verify this first, before investigating further.
If you have a Shopify-managed domain, you can access your domain's DNS settings in your Shopify admin to ensure the records are present. Feel free to follow the steps below to do so.
Alternatively, if your domain doesn't have or need additional DNS records, you can reset the DNS settings for your domain. Doing this will delete all your DNS records except the A record and CNAME record, which are reset to point to Shopify. If you wish to reset your DNS settings you can refer to the following guide.
Domains take up to 48 hours to propagate so your domain may still present issues within that time frame. If your Shopify domain still doesn't work properly after 48 hours, please create a support ticket by visiting https://bit.ly/3cJkx8V so we can take a look at your domain and help you fix it.
If you have a third-party domain, you may contact your domain provider for assistance with updating or verifying your DNS records.
After your domain is fixed, make sure to set up email hosting if you haven't done this yet so you can have a professional custom email that reflects your domain (e.g. info@multiwood.com.pk). Having a custom email is highly beneficial for your business as it can build consistent branding and trust. You can sign up with an email hosting platform such as Zoho Mail or Google Workspace. You'll find more information about email hosting on this page.

After clicking on domain section this page open
after clicking on my preferred domain this message pops up on relevant page about domain not connected
I didn't find anything about the things you mentioned above
Thanks for sending over those screenshots, @Multiwood! Also, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. While we work to respond as soon as possible, we can't guarantee immediate replies as Shopify Community isn't a live support channel. For a quicker response time, I recommend creating a support ticket through https://bit.ly/3cJkx8V and speaking to our support team via live chat or callback.
Looking at the screenshots you shared, it appears that you have a third-party domain. Since your domain has a Not connected status, it's likely that it does not have the DNS records I previously shared. Please contact your domain provider for assistance with updating the DNS settings as they can be accessed through your account with them. You may share this guide on connecting your domain to your Shopify store with them.
