Why is my desktop page CLS poor and how can it be fixed?

I am receiving a poor CLS for all of my Desktop pages. This seems to have started on March 25th (see attached screenshots) . Luckily the mobile pages all rank "Good" but should I be worried about the desktop version ranking poorly?

1) how do I determine what could be causing it?

2) Will this negatively impact my google search ranking?

3) Is this something that shopify/theme developer is/will be working on a fix for?

The theme I am using is Responsive 7.2.1
