Why is my domain SSL still pending after connection?

Hello,

 

I've tried to connect my domain to my shopify store and the SSL has been pending for a few days (the domain says connected and next to it SSL pending). I followed all the steps carefully and controlled that there was nothing interfering. But doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure if the problem comes from my side or not. Would love some help 

(the domain provider is hostinger)

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with your domain, to ensure this gets resolved. To confirm I'm fully understanding, this is a third-party domain that has been connected to your Shopify store, correct?

 

If so, I would begin by confirming the DNS Records are correctly pointing to Shopify. To do so, you can refer to our Connecting Third-Party Domains documentation for those details. The DNS Records include: 

 

  • Pointing the A record to the Shopify IP address 23.227.38.65.
  • If necessary, change the Host name to the @ symbol.
  • Delete any other A records on the domain if there are any present.
  • Point the CNAME record with the name www to shops.myshopify.com.
  •  

 

In the case the domain remains in a pending state, it may simply require more time to successfully propagate. Please allow for one week to pass, as propagation times can vary depending on the domain provider. If after a week the domain is still showing as pending, please feel free to Contact Support to allow for further investigation.
