I see a lot of old messages on this back in 2020, but this issue appears to have returned at least for us. We were successfully syncing and selling on eBay but then all of a sudden we get a failure when clicking on the eBay app. When we try and remove and re-add the eBay channel again, we get an error connecting to "https://s-00.storeconnect.io/auth/shopify?hmac=..."
None of the recommended paths seem to work, including:
- Using Edge instead of Chrome
- Using Safari with CORS enabled
Also contacted eBay and they don't seem to think its on their end. Very strange there isn't an easy answer to this one as there are hundreds of people posting against this same issue.

Talking to eBay and Shopify support now.
eBay were helping until I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, now they say it's a shopify problem.
Shopify checked with their technical team and confirmed it was an eBay problem.
The problem is we now cannot edit any of our ebay listings because they were created via the shopify channel.
eBay is apparently checking with their channel dev team - did you ever have this problem resolved?
No, still in exactly the same boat and no responses from either side. Feels like given how big eBay is you would think Shopify and eBay might collaborate to solve this problem... everyone wants to blame the other, but there is nothing any of us can do. 😞
Some progress, the app can now be installed but I can't access it in the admin panel.

Happened to me this week. States that I am not connected to my EBay Channel and when I click to connect it has an error code. I can still link to all other channels.
I have just found that we are no longer able to connect to the Ebay app.
On my home page I am now seeing the following message:
When I click on the "learn more" button or if try to connect to the app, the address bar rapidly alternates repeatedly as below (myshopname is obviously not the real name of my shop):
https://myshopname.myshopify.com/admin/apps/ebay/auth/ebay-authorize
https://myshopname.myshopify.com/admin/apps/ebay/account/connected-incomplete
https://myshopname.myshopify.com/admin/apps/ebay/dashboard
I'm not getting an error code as you seem to be. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem as me?
