My inventory on hand went from Black to Red. Why is that is there a problem with my store.

It appears to be done to highlight that it's "running out". For example in my admin, the products with 10 or so are in black text. Ones on lower numbers are in red.
It appears to just be a visual change to highlight products that might need restocking.
it shows on variations and individual products for me.
Mine just started doing that too. Any ideas, anybody?
I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE
I just read that it means at least one variant is out of stock which appears to be true.
This is actually helpful for items you restock regularly.

Where does the inventory show up red? On the product page or in your admin console?
