Re: Active Product Not Showing Up

Solved

Why is my new active product not appearing in the product list or search results?

Hello,

This is my shop: https://sm5.heledahn.com/collections/3d-models?sort_by=created-descending

I have been using the shop for the past year without any issues. Today, suddenly, when I created a new product, made it active, and saved it like always, it didn't say "view", but "preview", and the product doesn't appear in the product list, or in the search result. It's as if the product was still in draft mode.

I tried making a new product, and the same thing happened. I also tried logging out and back in.

What happened? Is there any solutions for this?

Thank you in advance!

OK, I posted my similar problem and just figured it out. I recently added Canada and UK markets to our shop (in addition to US). I discovered that the products I added were EXCLUDED from ALL 3 markets. Once I went into Markets and manually included them for each of the 3 countries they now appear. I copied from another product and it could have been one only sold in the US so that does not explain why US was excluded.

Hello,

I have the same issue on my shop  https://pokegalerie.com/

The product doesn't appear in the shop page. I also tried making a new product, and the same thing.

Is there any solutions for this?

Thank you in advance!

Having the exact same issue and it's driving me nuts. Product shows Active but with Preview, not View. I see it in my collection (automatically pulled in via tag) but it does not appear when I view the collection or when I search for the product. Pretty serious issue.

Amazing you can't attach a jpg to an issue here!

That makes a lot of sense, since my problem started after activating markets for the US.

How did you include the products to the markets? I'm having trouble understanding how it works. Thaks in advance!

Edit: Nevermind, I found out how to include the products! 😄

Note to Shopify: It's a pain to have to do this for every new product I make. After this setback with the markets, I'm considering moving my shop somewhere else...

Also, does anyone know how to remove the US as the primary market and put it back in International? I'm trying to take my shop to the way it was before I regrettably activated the markets feature 😞
Thanks!

I have the same issue but mine is included in the market.  But still doesn't show up on the product list.  I can preview the item, add it to the cart but when I click on the item on the cart, it comes up with a message that says 404, page not found!  Can I confirm that the process is In Settings, Markets, Manage market and products/pricing.

Anyone else with this issue?

I figured out why it was happening for me. If you haven’t figured it out yet, what I realized is I had put a tag on one of the items in my collection. When I added the same tags to the other items in my collection they showed up on the site again.

Hi there, have you found a way to select these sales channels when creating and importing new products?  Or do you have to manually do this still for each product?  Not great when you want to upload 2000 products....  argh!
