Why is my new domain's SSL still pending after transfer to Shopify?

Hey,

I bought a new domain a few days ago and transferred from Ionos to Shopify

The domain is www.scarcefootwear.com

I can confirm the 48 hour window has just passed, it's also a new domain which never had an SSL to start with, I purchased it then started the transfer to Shopify.

I am sure I have changed the correct settings in the DNS on Ionos, but there seem to be duplicates, not too sure if anybody can help

Hey @ScarceFootwear,

Thanks for sharing your DNS configuration, it looks like the domain has an AAAA record attached to it. A domain with an AAAA record on it will likely present SSL issues, so you'll need to remove this from your domain.

Once the AAAA record has been removed, you can contact our Live Support team so that we can take a closer look at the domain and to help manually provision a certificate for it, if need be. To get in touch with our team, you'll need to login to your store via our help centre here. Once logged in, select a topic that best fits your query or situation. From there, you'll be taken to a page with a list of relevant support articles, and you can scroll to the bottom of that page to select your preferred contact method with our team.

Are you also thinking of selling to international customers on your store? Once you've successfully resolved your domain issues, you can start to consider adding international domains to localise your store to international customers. This will help provide a more positive shopping experience for your overseas customers and build your reputation as an international brand. I'll leave a few resources below for more information on selling internationally:
