Why is my online store unavailable?

Hi Sopify Help Centre, 

We are unable to go to our website. The system shows, "This store is unavailable."

Can you check why we cannot reach the website for any reason?

No matter if your shop has a few or thousands of products on the offer, poor management of unavailable products can make your store stop being displayed for particular keywords and thus lose the valuable traffic you worked for before. When e-commerce is concerned, organic traffic is very often one of the leading factors that affect sales. Deleting a subpage with a product that is no longer available on your offer may negatively influence not only the conversion rate but also the revenues of your company. However, as with many SEO activities, a solution that works for one business won’t necessarily work for the other.

But I totally cannot enter my shop website now. Is it a technical issue?

 I can understand this is important to you, so let's see if we can resolve this together and get you access to your store again. The first step here is to ensure the issue is not a local device or browser problem preventing you from accessing your store. To rule this out, can you please try each one of the following steps: 

  • Clear your cache and cookies on your browser. After this, completely reboot the browser.  
  • Try on another web browser or an incognito window.   
  • When using incognito, if you are still experiencing a display issue, confirm you have disabled browser extensions as these can change how the pages look.    
  • Try another device or on the Shopify Mobile app.
  • Try another internet connection (example, switch to a cellular network on a phone rather than wifi.)  
  • Ensure there are no pop ups being blocked in the web browser.   
  • Ensure you do not have any firewalls or pop up blockers enabled on the device
