Why is my Shopify page appearing in multiple menu subsections?

Hello, I am currently working on a shopify store for an artist. I've been encountering a recurrent problem. When I add a page under a subsection of the menu it appears there but also adds itself to other subsections where I don't want it. 

For example I am creating a subsection titled Events and I have created a page with pictures of a certain event to add there. That page and its pictures will then appear under Events but also in other subsections such as the artist's bio - which is a completely different choice on the main menu.

How do I resolve this? How can I set a page to only appear under one subsection and not multiple across the board?
