Why is my SSL still pending after 48 hours on my new domain?

Hello,

 

I bought a domain through Shopify but im currently having issues with the SSL as its been pending for more than 48hours. I change the A record thinking that was it but that did not fix the issues.

Thank you for the screenshot! The DNS settings look correct from that screenshot and generally the SSL certificate populates quite quickly for Shopify hosted domains.

 

In this situation I would ask that you please contact our support through our Help Center using the link I shared in my previous post. Our support team will be able to check the status of the domain in the backend and ensure you are good to go.

Could you please share a screenshot of your current DNS settings for your domain? I am happy to review and see if it is setup properly.

 

If you are comfortable doing so, you can share your domain URL and I can run some checks on the domain status as well. Alternatively, you can use a free tool like DNS Checker Propagation Tool to check what DNS information is being sent out by the domain host.

I have tried previously through Help center but im not sure how to get to the part where I can actually send a message to support. I’m only able to see the different help articles
