Why is my updated JS not visible on my store?

While we update or try to delete Our JS from store. Nothing happens

There's not a lot to work with here. Are you able to post a link to the shop, and show some screens of the removed file in the admin? That's helpful to confirm that the file is gone, and also test what the front end loads.

Thank you for the reply, the issue is we couldn't update the JS file that pull by shopify CDN. can you please guide us, how we can update our existing JS.

Hello @wyde

 

We understand this can be troublesome. However, this can be resolved by following the below-mentioned steps.

 

  • Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
  • Click on Online Store >Themes> Actions > Edit Code.
  • Now click on Assets and look for the JavaScript file you want to update or delete.
  • To update the JavaScript code, click on the file name to open it, make changes, and then click Save.
  • To delete the JavaScript file, click the Actions button next to the file and select Delete. A confirmation message will appear. Click on Delete file to confirm.



Note: Deleting a JavaScript file may affect the functionality of your website, so be careful when deleting any code.

 

After making any changes or deleting files, it's always a good idea to test your website thoroughly to ensure everything works as expected.

Once you have updated or deleted the JavaScript code, the changes should immediately reflect on your Shopify store.
