Hi there,
I've pulled an export of orders for August 2023 (1st-31st Aug) I've then compared this to the shopify 'Sales over time report', pulling in the same dates as the order export.
The Order export is showing an inflated total sales amount of +£3,612 compared with the sales over time report (total sales + returns). Orders export report is also counting +19 orders compared to the sales over time report. Why would this be the case?
The orders export is returning a row per line item on the order. So if you had 5 orders, each with 2 line items, the order export would have 10 rows. Are you accounting for this?
Hi, yes, I'm accounting for this when looking at orders, so not understanding why there would be additional orders and revenue. I'm also including, paid, refunded and partial refund in the orders export report.
