Why isn't my abandoned checkout data updating and how can I fix it?

My abandoned checkouts isn’t Updating for many days. I was depend on it for creating more orders by contact the customer again and convince them. 
what is the problem and can I solve it?

The abandoned checkout recovery is available only for the Online Store sales channel, the Buy Button sales channel, and the Plus Wholesale Channel. Abandoned checkouts on Shopify POS or third-party sales channels will not receive a checkout recovery email. 

 

Could you clarify if abandoned checkouts are not being generated at all or if they're not being sent to customers? 

 

If the abandoned checkouts are generating, but not sending to customers, you'll want to double-check where the majority of your orders are coming from. I'll share the steps below to view this information.

 

Where are orders generating from:

 

  • Navigate to your Shopify admin > Orders section
  • Select Orders > All
  • Select Filter > Channel
  • Under Select value, you can filter each channel.

 

As shared in our recovering abandoned checkout resource, our abandoned cart recovery system only works when the order is going through our Online Store, Buy Button, or Plus Wholesale sales channels. Any app or third-party channel in addition to POS can create abandoned carts, but our system does not send recovery notifications for them.

 

If the majority of your orders are from the Online Store and the notifications are still not being sent out, check out this list of possible other reasons in our recovering abandoned checkout resource.
