Why isn't my blog URL working and how can I redirect it?

This URL is not working: https://thewickedwarlock.com/blogs

Why? And how do I fix it? Is there a way to redirect it to blogs/news?

While I'm not able to access account specific information through the Community, you can certainly look into setting up a URL redirect. This will ensure traffic is redirected to thewickedwarlock.com/blogs/news and customers can continue to find what they're searching for. 

To create a URL redirect, you can:

• From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

• From the Apps and sales channels page, click Online store.

• Click Open sales channel.

• Click Navigation.

• Click URL Redirects.

• Click Create URL redirect.

• In Redirect from, enter the old URL (i.e /blogs) that you want to redirect visitors from.

• In Redirect to, enter the new URL that you want to redirect visitors to (i.e thewickedwarlock.com/blogs/news) . 

• Click Save redirect.

One more question. Is it possible to "news" to "journal"? 

As in TheWickedWarlock.com/blogs/journal

Thank you for the prompt response! 

You can certainly adjust the blog details to have it populate on the storefront as 'Journal' instead of 'News'. To achieve this, you can:

• Head to Online Store > Blogs, from the Shopify admin.
• Select Manage Blogs in the top right corner. 
• Select the News blog. 
• Under Title, rename it to Journal. 
• Click Save.
