Hi! I've followed all the steps to connect my domain to Shopify but it's not working. Do I need to delete there previous A and Cname records or just add the new ones?
You will need to delete existing A and Cname records and add the new ones.
Please allow some time (5 min to a couple of hours) for the DNS records to propagate.
You can also use https://dnschecker.org/ to check if the records are updated correctly.
Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Shopify Community.
It sounds like you are trying to connect a third-party domain to your Shopify store, is that correct? Is 'Crazy Domains' the domain provider for your domain?
If there are already A records and CNAME records on the domain from previous uses, then as @Daniel-HHP has mentioned you will need to remove these as they will most likely interfere with using your domain on your store.
There are two main steps that you need to take when connecting a domain to your store. The first being changing the DNS records to reflect the Shopify requirements, and the second being connecting the domain to your Shopify admin.
You will need to edit the DNS settings for the domain to include the following:
After editing the DNS to reflect the above, head to your Shopify admin and navigate to Settings > Domains > Connect Existing Domain and then enter your domain and follow the proceeding steps.
We have more detailed information on the entire process here, so I would highly recommend familiarizing yourself with it before starting.
Are you in the middle of setting up your store for the first time? Besides the domain query, how is the rest of the store coming along? I would love to hear more about the store, and your plans for Shopify! Let me know how that domain connection goes - I would be happy to troubleshoot further if you need more help.

I am having the same issue and i have done all the things listed and followed the manual but can’t get the CNAME to link from crazy domains to my shopify store
Hey @Jadesnc.
Thanks for reaching out.
Are you still experiencing this issue? When you navigate to Settings > Domains, do you see your third-party domain listed?
If you are experiencing issues with connecting your third-party domain to your Shopify store - I would suggest reaching out to your domain provider support and providing the following DNS changes here. They are in the best position to assist you further with getting the domain connected to your store.
Let us know what you think.

Hey @Willow_Grace_ did you end up sorting this out? I'm having the same issue, Crazy Domains doesn't let me update the www to point to shops.myshopify.com. It just put a red box around the field, refusing to save and doesn't display an error message.
I had the same issue, I changed the shop part to the random numbers and letters that were already my shopify site address and it worked
