Why isn't my domain getting indexed on Google?

Hello,

Created my shopify page 2-3 months ago with the domain toonfam.com and it's not indexed on Google. Here are the following things I have done so far:

- Added domain property to Google Search Console & verified it

- Added sitemap.xml and it's verified

- My domain is on my Instagram & Facebook page

- An article on medium.com was written about my website

- "toonfam.com" on google search brings 70 results from all types of websites

Still after all that, my domain is not indexed. I've never had this issue with other platforms. Is there a Shopify setting that is stopping my domain from being indexed or something? All help is appreciated. Thanks

My domain & pages are not indexed because of the following. How do i remove 'noindex' on Shopify?

Hi @Toonfam,

I'd recommend checking out the "theme.liquid" layout located in Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit code > Layout to see if the following tag is present:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex">

If this tag is present, you can remove this tag from your layout to resolve the issue at hand.
