Why isn't my website's fav icon showing in Google search results?

• when im searching my website on google, the website is showing at the top of search results but The FAV icon or any description isn't showing, please tell me how can i do it?

There could be a few reasons why your favicon is not showing up on Google. If you have just added the file to your store it might take some time to show up, so if you have changed it recently give it some time for Google to update that information on their end. Google relies on stable information, so if you make a lot of changes to your website, it'll take some time for these changes to be reflected on Google. 

Another reason this could be happening is the file format. The three most common formats for favicons are .ico, .png, and .gif. If your favicon is in any other format, it’s likely that it’s not appearing on your store because the file format isn’t compatible.

You'll also want to double check your theme settings since a lot of Shopify themes have a section you can upload your favicon to, Check the theme settings to make sure that the favicon has been uploaded correctly.

If you have checked all of these solutions and it's still not working, I suggest reaching out directly to the theme developer. If it's a Shopify made theme you can contact our support and reach out for help there. Using the chat you can write "theme support" > Click "I still need help" > Then follow the prompts to be connected to a Shopify Advisor.
