Why isn't the cart quantity updating properly on Expressions?

Hello,   The shop I am using is Expressions.    When I add a product to my cart and select more than a quantity of 1, then go to my cart, the cart does not show the proper count.   For example, if I want to buy 3 of the same product, my cart only shows 1.      Any fixes?     Thank you for your time.

Did the issue only start to occur recently? If so, did you perhaps add any third-party apps to your store, or made any changes to its coding, that may have changed the way that the cart page is meant to function?

 

If no changes were recently made to your store, I recommend conducting some tests on your store via a fresh copy of a Shopify theme. This will help you rule out any potential third-party interference to your store's cart page.

 

You can install a Shopify theme via Online store > Themes, scroll down to the Popular free themes section, and select a theme to add to your library. From there, click on the Ellipsis (...) next to the newly added theme > Preview, and you can then test your website to see if the quantity selector on cart will show the correct amount of items this time. If the issue doesn't persist on the fresh theme, chances are a third-party app or any recent code change to your store's theme may be interfering with the quantity selector or cart page overall.
