Why isn't the enter key working on my search bar?

Hi, The enter key does not work on our search bar

I have look to find a solution but no luck so far.
Any help would be appreciated

Was this function working before? A script needs to be added to make the enter key works. Depending in your theme, but this should be a default behavior whenever a search bar is shown. You can either contact your theme provider or hire someone to add this functionality for you.

Thanks for your reply, The enter key hasn't been working for 6 months now. We have just added the new theme so that didn't cause the issue. I was hoping someone had an easy fix without needing to hire someone to  fix it.

Hi, mine isn't working either. The product dropdown will display but when you just press enter, after the dropdown displays, the user is taken to a blank page. I would like the user to be taken to the next best product listed below. Not sure if you were able to get this fixed on yours? or if this was your issue...

Suddenly this became an issue for me to. Can't finalize a search enquiry in the search bar by pressing ENTER/RETURN. I have to grab my mouse and click on the bottom of the preview "Search for..." to finalize. 

This is only present in desktop view. In tablet/phone it works. 

I can see that you seems to have fix the issue on your site - can you tell me what to do?
