Following email received I just created store few days back , I created store with my name and company but my child enter my cousin company details on my account which we used previously closed account , Any solution?
We have reviewed your account and determined that it is in violation of Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). As a result, we are no longer able to host your store on the Shopify platform and your account has been closed.
 
The full amount of pending payouts will be held by the Processor, in accordance with the Shopify Payments Terms of Service and the Processor's Terms of Service. Payouts are typically held for 120 days.

I can understand this is a difficult position to be in. My advice in this case would be to reply to this email you got and explain the situation you are in. This means you will be in direct contact with the correct team who have access to your accounts details, so they are best placed to answer your queries.

will the payment be released who else can we contact because I provided everything they asked of me and my site still closed not only everything was done legit who else do you contact in these type of situations

was given ownership of a store by a friend to customise and change to my new store then within hours I received an email terminating my store , with a payout pending , I’ve never actually used Shopify but for my first time I doubt I’d be using Shopify after this , apparently it’s a norm they hold your money till you’re tired to fight them and take the money , will be on here giving updates to my story for the Shopify community to see , please don’t listen to any responses by Shopify team to this issue I will come back and drop feedback myself . 26 Feb 2024

Did they respond to you ? Because my account was closed from my family donating me a 6000 from akimbo which is a legit site
