Why won't my 18 second video upload to my main page?

I've been trying to upload an 18 second video to my main page and it just doesn't do it. I've uploaded to YouTube and copy the link but it just stays loading and never finishes. 

 I've tried from my phone and laptop, with a cover image and without. 

I've asked so many people and all I get is "that is strange , it should do it" 

Please help!!!!!! I don't understand why it's not working
