Why won't my bulk edits save on products?

Hoping someone can help as to why the Bulk Edit will not save. I've highlighted all the necessary ones and changed the meta description then clicked Save. It tells me it has Saved the 42 products but when I go back out and check a particular product, nothing has changed!  I've tried again and again.

When you go back and check, is this in the Admin or are you looking at the live product page instead?
Can you test just one product changed via the bulk editor and see what happens?

I have looked at admin and live pages. And I've just tried editing 1 product but still no change.

Can you share a link to that product and what you expected the meta description to be? I assume you know the meta description and the description are not the same thing. Some may mix those up.

The first one is what it is now. Second pic is what I am trying to make it.

That first picture shows bold text. A meta description doesn't have formatting like that so I think you are mixing up "product description" and "meta description". They are two different things.

On the product page scroll all the way down and edit the SEO section. In there you'll see the meta description which is what you'll be editing in the bulk editor.

Ahh...IC.  THANK YOU. OK.. well how do I bulk edit the Description that I'm trying to change.?  What field do I add?

There's no option in the bulk editor to edit the Description. 
That would have to be done one at a time, in bulk via the CSV import, or via an app.

I don't know what CSV import is nor which app would do it. But I will do some research.

select single product - edit then goto bulk editor. make changes. It gets saved.

Same with me I sat there and bulk edited all products in products, in collections and still when I go to check it did not edit, I have to manually edit anyway, it lost me a lot of time.
