Re: Product Page Not Loading

Why won't my product pages load on my website?

Hello,

I handle this site: philux.ph

Beginning yesterday afternoon, our product pages would not load. Though the home page, collection pages and other regular pages load normally.

No major changes to the website or to apps were made yesterday that I would assume may have caused this issue.

In regards to apps, we use PageFly to design product pages, though as stated above, no major changes were made yesterday on the app. We also use PageFly to design our home page, select collection pages, and other regular pages, and no issues with these. Even product pages for which we don't use PageFly for are not loading.

Any suggested solutions? Would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

It seems that the interface was called successfully, but the data is not displayed, so I assuem there might be some issue with the server. Maybe you can see if there is any problems there.

Thank you for your response, your suggestion is very much appreciated.

May I ask how to check on the server and determine whether there is an issue there?

Thank you again!

On clicking any product, I am seeing some errors in the Console. See the "Console" tab in the developer tool window for the product page. I think those errors are making your product page not load. Try to fix the errors.

Also, check the "Network" tab in the developer tool window for the product page and see if any script is taking too much time to load and if any files are erroring.

Hi @philuxhome ,

This is Victor from PageFly. Thank you for choosing PageFly to improve your store.

I found that you might chat with our 24/7 support and get the solution.

I was amazed that your website and your product are really pretty.

I want to tell you more tips to test your speed and optimize it. You can check the page speed with Google PageSpeed Insight.

Your page works quite well on the desktop. The tool gives 83 points for desktop devices, but only 34 for mobile.

You should consider the mobile analytic results:

  1. The biggest reason that makes your page run slowly is "Delay loading of off-screen images". Consider partially loading hidden and off-screen images after all your important resources have been loaded to reduce interaction time.
  2. Secondly, the images sizes is not suitable
  3. Then, you can consider removing deprecated JavaScript, CSS code to reduce the number of bytes available for network activity. Please check your theme.liquid file and remove unused JavaScript

If you want to optimize your images to help your page loading speed faster, you can use some of the image optimization tools like ImageOptim , Shopify Online Image Resizer , tinypng.com or imagecompressor.com.

And If you have images that go with .PNG file, you can convert them to .JPG or .JPEG files

Let me know if you want further assistance.

Have a great day!
