To confirm, are you seeing the following error messages on a banner in your Shopify admin and have also received an email? There are several reasons why your Shopify Payments account is on hold.
Merchants who use the Shopify platform may undergo this routine review for their Shopify Payments/Payouts. Our Business Operations Team actively works with our banking partners in verifying your Shopify Payments account on their end. The team may take up to 1-3 business days to review all details and your account thoroughly, in order to completely verify your account. However, this could take longer depending on the volume of work or if any additional information is required from the team. Therefore, I would request you to keep an eye out for any emails from our team and reply back directly to that email for further clarification.
Please be sure to check your inbox, spam folder, junk email, etc. Once the review is done and payouts are enabled, you will no longer see the banner regarding the hold on the home page of your store admin.
You may want to consider submitting a support request through the Shopify Help Center if you have not received an email, as this will enable our internal team to investigate your account.
