Hi @Gabe , hope you can help me on this! 

 

I do have a customer who is using the DAWN Theme. ( I didn't) make the shop - it is a person we can not reach out anymore. 

Anyway we made the update to DAWN 12.0. Now i try to integrate the App Skypilot in the Customer Account where all the Order History is stored to have a Download-Button there. My Customer is selling Ebooks. The thing is - always when i choose "Kundenbestellung" (Customer Order) in the theme to add the section it redrives me to the customer Login page. I do not have a chance to add this button because of this behavior. 

 

We are using the Classic Accounts. 

Do you have a clue why it behaves like that? And maybe a solution? We are desperate already.

Offhand, it is difficult to say what system or specific theme behaviour that is. Have you been able to contact the Skypilot support team regarding this issue?

  • Try out some alternative apps: There are apps like the Sendowl app that offer the same digital download features and more. Have you tried our own DD app and if yes, what didn't go so well with our app?
  • App Integration Method: Review the method you're using to integrate Skypilot into the Dawn theme. Depending on how the app is designed to integrate with Shopify themes, you might need to add specific code snippets to your theme files. You can refer to Skypilot's documentation or support for guidance as depicted above in order to troubleshoot this issue further.
  • Liquid Code Customization: If you're familiar with Shopify's Liquid code, you can try to manually insert the necessary code for the Download button in the customer account area. This might involve editing theme files like account.liquid or customers/order.liquid. If you like I can offer some tips on that.
  • Check for JavaScript Conflicts: Sometimes, JavaScript conflicts can cause unexpected behavior in themes. If you have custom scripts or other apps installed, they might interfere with the Skypilot integration.

Hi Gabe! Sorry 

irgendwie bin ich in Foren immer auf Englisch unterwegs. Deutsch passt gut. 

Ich bin mit den Appentwicklern in Kontakt. Grundsätzlich kann man ja seit Shopify 2.0 Apps mit Blöcken einbinden und das war auch meine erste heran gehens weise. Also mir ist grundsätzlich bewusst wie ich den Button einbinden kann nur lässt es Shopify nicht zu. 

 

Die Kundin möchte den Button auf der Kunden-Bestellhistorien Seite haben. Da war er auch bis zur Version 8 von Dawn. Nun lässt es mich die Seite nicht mehr bearbeiten. Ich schicke dir mal ein Video damit du es besser verstehst. Im Video siehst du wie ich spezifische Seiten im Theme auswähle zum anpassen - aber immer wieder auf die Kunden-Login Seite geleitet werde.

Liquid Code wäre mein zweiter Versuch gewesen und da steh ich vor dem Problem, dass es in dieser Installation gar kein customers/order.liquid gibt?! 

Gerne hierfür Tipps!
