Hello,

I would like to have a swipeable mulutcolumn like in dawn so that I can, for example, put in 3 pictures on the desktop they are in a row and on mobile you have to swipe.

Here an example

Thank you:)

Erfolg.

So, first of all - it isn't that hard to achieve, but a for a no-code savvy person it might be overwhelming, i guess. It might be more time efficient to hire a Dev for this approach. Unless you want to do it by yourself, this article would be great start to get the gist on how a section is build and structured. Next step would be to get a drift on how swiper.js works and how you implement it into your section.

cheers,

sam

You can use the swiper.js Library for this one. I built a similiar section on the Dawn Theme with swiper.js a while ago.

Thank you for your response. Could you please provide more details on how to proceed? Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with programming. I have only worked a little bit with HTML and CSS on my website. Any additional guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Okay i will try in my free time. What about copying the section from another Theme. Is this possible?

It is, for sure, possible, but depends heavily on the type of section. more static sections like i.e. a image with text, or scrolling text are easy to replicate from other themes. but when it gets to Javascript and use of customElements things can get pretty complicated and without a developer background pretty tough to achieve imho. but again, not impossible - there are lots of resources and platforms to talk to other fellow devs or low-code savvy ppl like the discord channel. it depends on how many time you are ready to invest. this forum is also pretty helpful in terms of questions. come back to this thread when you encounter any issues alongside coding and testing. we're happy to help you out.

cheers,
