Customer metafields (frontend) linking with Product metafields

Use case: 98% percent of customers is recurring. Any health prerequisites for the customer set up in their customer account. Based on the Metafield selection of customer, make products in entire store which need to be excludes based on the metafields, for example overlayed with gray color or any message that this product is not suited for them.  

Is it technically possible to let customers make a selection of preferences from Metafields options in their customer account (allergies etc).AND link these "preferences" to specific Product Metafields.
