Help needed – ALT text showing on product images + URL redirection issue

Hello,

I’m currently experiencing two technical issues on my Shopify store (theme: Distinctive), and I would really appreciate your support to resolve them as soon as possible.

I’ve noticed that the ALT texts are being displayed visually on hover, especially on certain collections like “Exclusive Packs” and “Hijab Accessories”. This does not happen with all products — for example, the “Gradient Hijabs” collection is unaffected.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • I added custom CSS in product.css and theme.css to hide alt text tooltips.

  • I used selectors like .product-single__media img[alt]:hover::after, .media__image[title], and others.

  • I verified the issue using Chrome DevTools, but couldn’t find a reliable selector that disables the visual tooltip display.

Despite all attempts, the ALT text still shows up visually on hover, which disrupts the user experience and affects the premium aesthetic of the brand.

Could you please let me know:

  • How to prevent the ALT or TITLE attributes from being rendered visually, without removing them for SEO purposes?

  • If this is a feature or limitation within the Distinctive theme?

I’ve also created a custom page called “Shipping & Returns” (/pages/livraison-et-retours), and I have added it to the site’s main navigation.

However, when visitors click on this link in the header or footer, it redirects them to the “Our Brand” page or sometimes the homepage — even though the correct URL is set in the menu settings.

Here’s what I checked:

  • The page exists and is published.

  • The handle (/pages/livraison-et-retours) is correct.

  • The navigation item in the menu is pointing to the correct page.

But despite that, the redirection is not working as expected.

Could this be a bug in the theme navigation settings? Or is there something specific I should change in the theme code?

Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.

Please let me know how I can resolve these two issues quickly — this is important for the customer experience and SEO of my brand.
