I would love to see this as well. Right now I have to go out of Shopify and send a private notice. Defeats the purpose since you can resend order confirmation.
Customers do not readily like to give out their personal phone numbers. To me this is not a viable work around.
As a store owner I am needing this feature as well. It defeats workflow ease having to for a new letter and resend privately.
