Would I know, if Google tagged the overuse of custom products? Is this something they point you to via notifications/recommendations? Also: Are there any methods to somehow scan (in our case) EAN codes and import it in shopify? Or is manual typing re...

We are a small company that sells used retro games and consoles. We have about 2500 products in our shop and we use the google/youtube app from shopify to link our products with the google merchant center and run google ads. Generally the setup runs ...
Certainly. Even the on page refresh when changing CSS was a tad quicker. And as mentioned, this is only the case for the preview via 127.0.0.1:9292. Via the sharable preview link page loads are much faster. Are these loading times normal for 3.x?

My Shopify CLI preview (via http://127.0.0.1:9292/) loads extremely slow. It takes about 15 seconds to load a page. Changes within a page do reload quite fast but if I navigate to a different page or fully reload the current page, it takes a long tim...

I'm looking for a solution to customize my theme (Crave) in a way where my custom code is easily distinguishable from the original theme code for future theme updates. Are snippets a good way to do so? For context: I have VS Code setup with two branc...
I have setup my theme (Crave) with two Git branches (dev and release) which are connected with shopify. So I make changes to the theme locally with Visual Studio Code and then commit them to the remote repo on github. Crave now got updated and I want...
We're building a shop for retro games. We have a product per game (say Super Mario 64). Within this product we have quite some variants for the different conditions, with/without manual or box, language etc. We define those parameters via metafields ...
I'm building a shop that sells retro games, consoles and accessories and I'm having troubles to find the right way to structure our products. In essence I do not know what we should handle as separate products and what we should handle as variants, s...
