Spent an hour with Shopify tech this morning - there's a bug in the way variants (that you can no longer rearrange orders) is affecting the ability to reorder option values into order.

I rearrange the variants in Options, press Save. Doesn't save - goes back to old order. Bug?

Completely unhelpful response. From a UX perspective, NOT having an easy option to hide irrelevant variants IS ancient. Shopify need to update this asap.
