If your primary domain is poshstrides.com and the xovcart.com is redirecting to poshstrides.com already, it won't affect SEO at all if you remove the 2nd domain (as long as you never publically used that domain so there are no backlinks for it anyway...

Using text marquee, no matter how poorly coded, shouldn't be heating up your phone. I would take a look at your phone and make sure there isn't something actually wrong with it first. What's the URL to the page you're using it on?

Your best bet would be to use a premade plugin like https://apps.shopify.com/globo-mega-menu. That way you can easily update your menu as well. If you're comfortable with coding, you can also easily do this by editing your theme files as well.
