I have personalization fields marked as required but you can add to cart without completing the fields. How can I change that? website URL is www.jsbuildcompany.com

I added the drop down and personalization via code so I cannot move the quantity button in the theme unfortunately.

when I do that, it appears to be a slideshow of thumbnails and only shows 3 thumbnails. any idea how to show all?
oh I didn't notice it was like a slideshow. is there a way to change it so all thumbnails are visible?
the theme doesn't offer options for number of thumbnails. just to show them or not, and to place the horizontally or vertically. also I tried adding that code and it didn't help.
