Had the same issue and I found the answer. You have to go into Shopify email app. Not Marketing or Campaigns - which I think is stupid. In there you will have the option to duplicate email. 

I want to add 'text columns with images' to specific product pages without having to it replicate on all the other pages using that template. Is there a simply way to do this without having to make custom templates for each product?
