I have the product snippet behaviour though don't have a clue what these snippets are.. 

Looks like my competitor spends zero on ads but takes full page of free listings.. So probably it is not the reason.

I am very glad i found this discussion. Endless conversations with Google support were driving me crazy, same story: we can do nothing about it, everything looks fine, check if you follow our guidelines, helping you would be unfair towards the others...
