Unfortunately the only thing that worked was starting over with a whole new dawn template in the latest version. Luckily the site I was working on was pretty easy to redo but it is for sure more time consuming. Best of luck with your project!

thanks so much for your reply, I also ended up starting over but I just started with dawn theme again and everything works fine now. I guess its either a Shopify functionality thing or a weird glitch..

Hmm, thanks for your replies. I had already tried clearing my cache and updating the dawn version neither step did anything. I also do not have any sections disabled. It's so strange.. I did add an instagram feed app so maybe I need to try and remove...
