Thank you Victor,
I appreciate your feedback. I was really hoping to hear from fellow Shopify store owners. Their feedback will be first hand. I am a bit surprised how low of attendance and activity this forum is. I have tried to start the same thread on Shopify Facebook page however it was suggested to move it here because Facebook is not the venue. I have looked at Weebly and BigCommerce and the community there is much more alive.
To comment on a few of the apps you have suggested.
Product review is great and I do have it installed. It is very hard to pursue customers to leave a review.
Swell and Better Coupon Box, as well as many others, are offering a desperate incentive to make a sale however we don't discount our product because we believe in our quality and value.
Can you suggest some not invasive app solutions to drive more sells?

Hello, there fellow entrepreneurs :)
I am quite curious to find out which 5 apps are working for you? We have launched our store on Shopify 2 years ago. Still, we can't lift it off the ground. I do two other jobs to support my online business. We did try many apps. Read tons of Shopify blog post of "How easy people are quitting their jobs and make fortunes using those 10 useful apps"
Today not many bloggers out there just shout out useful info for FREE. I believe many of those posts are so-called "a la cart" and sponsored or at least backed up by an affiliate program. Which to a certain point is fine since we read the subjective opinion of the author. We did try all of those app suggestions which pretend to our business. The only thing we felt is that "We don't do enough......"
So I want to hear first hand from fellow users struggling like us. Which app is doing the magic for you and how?
We believe this thread will be extremely helpful to all of us.

Hello, Raj and all fellow Shopify store owners.
I also have a store www.bashertjewelry.com and same like you guys take a pride of my product. I have looked at some your site and they are really amazing. I have also had asked myself so many times why I don't have conversations. I have tried so many "revolutionary apps" , but didn't achieve any results. It took me more than a year and then I have realized that my approach to e-commerce was wrong. I was in jewelry retail as a designer and goldsmith for more than 10 years. Now I have started a brand of my own and have come to the conclusion that the clients and the process are still the same as having a physical location. Most visitors are women. They wish and desire your jewelry not to buy, but to receive as a gift. Most "wishlist" apps are storing your list on your device and to share it you need to yell it out loud on social media. It is a big turn off today when more and more people want to keep privacy. Therefore, I have developed and app of my own. It is called Drop A Hint. What it does is giving any shop owner the opportunity to convert those "silent" visitors to have their wishes granted. With a stylish e-card and responsive design they can "hint" the "right one" The hint comes from a third party via email and the branded card itself is a hyperlink to the product "hinted". As a store owner, you are also getting two emails to initiate conversation, offer a discount or whatever it might be to make a sale. I hope that helps.

Hello there dear entrepreneurs!
I am not a app developer by trade, but a fellow e-comerce intusiast in search of a tool to increase online converision. I have studied my Google Analaythics data and although my traffic was increasing daily the conversion rate was a flat liner........ I started wondering why??? I have noticed the following. Most of the visitors of my website www.bashertjewelry.com are people who wish to receive some of my designs, BUT how to let their loved oned know which??? One scenario is to have a "Wish"app, but what do you do then??? Share it with the rest of the world on Facebook. Most people these days are turned off by that and constantly adjusting/working on their privacy filters in their Facebook accounts. Another option for them is to "Forget" and leave the screen open, but what about if they dont share the same home???
I was searching for tool that will help me increse conversion of those passive visitors I have and I aksed my self "How to create a real life situation where a Hint is dropped by a third party/friend and it is not a dirrect request"
The answer was in my question. I had to find a way to Drop a Hint. There is nothing like on the Shopify app store, so I had to develope one. Since it was installed, it trippled our converion rate and number of sales. It has unlimitted customization options:
Upload your own image
Customize text, color, placement and size
Custom subject line
Elegant e-Card design
You can find it here:
OR see it in action here:
Here is what marketing might you get in a very ellegant way:
Sender's name and email
Receiver's name and email
The product the sender is interested in
The "Hinted" receives a e-Card with a Hint which also is a dirrect link to the product hinted!!!
Marketing might building your email list
Chance to upsell, discount or anything that help make a conversion
Collecting data on most popular products
DEcrease returns buy selling what the customer really WISHES for
It is free to try and any feedback is highly appreciated.
Dont be shy give it a try!
