Lets say you sell Apples, Bananas, and Carrots at the following prices:
Apples: $10
Bananas: $20
Carrots: $30
And you want to sell a Food Basket for $50 that contains one of each. What are you wanting displayed when the user reaches the cart page? One Food Basket or one Apple, one Banana, and one Carrot?
As we want the inventory to be kept by Shopify, the most natural thing is that the user have one Apple, Bananas and Carrots (The whole Food Basket) added to cart. So the prodcut page is for a Food Basket, but it contains the Apple, Bananas and Carrots (three different products already excisting in Shopify), but when they add the whole Food Basket, all of the three fruits will be added to cart with an 10$ discount applied (either fixed or percentage).
