If you need customers to upload their own image, then you would need to use a "Custom Product Options" app (https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=custom%20product%20options). These apps will also allow you to collect text personalization too. 
If you just purchased your domain name, then this should go away within a couple of days. It just takes some time for the DNS records to update, which is why you would be seeing this information right after you purchased it. 
The Dawn theme doesn't have 'transparent header' functionality built into it.
