Hi, I just learned about the new Beta Shipping Profiles and have a few questions. Right now I use my Shopify store to order through a POD App. I do this through the back end with Draft...

Hi, to the best of my knowledge, Shopify doesn't give us an .htaccess file.  That is something we would get from a web host, but not from an all-in-one builder like Shopify.  Correct me if I'm wrong!  ~Sally
Hi Amanda, I'm so glad it was helpful!  I assume that doing a redirect in Google (something I've never done) would put your renamed image right back on the scammers page that is "selling" counterfeits of your item (if that's the problem you're having...
Hi Amanda, The problem has dramatically lessened on Google search results.  I did start reporting the listings on the bogus ecommerce pages that were redirected to by the legit pages on real websites that seemed to have been hacked and had pages adde...
But Google doesn't count image hotlinks as backlinks. These scammers are not providing backlinks to our websites, they are putting bogus pages on sometimes legitimate websites, and somehow causing those pages to redirect to scam sites, **bleep** site...
Really tempted to try this app but was hoping for a free solution.   "File rename" appears to be only available in the paid version.  I'm trying to thwart the scammer/thieves who hotlink images like crazy to "sell" counterfeits (they're probably "jus...
Is this still possible?  A lot has changed since this post.  Thanks.

I have to do something, and I really don't want to take the time to move to wordpress, that would be weeks of unpaid work.  Has anyone moved their images to another server in order to combat this problem?  If so, how do we allow Google access to our ...
OMG Shopify is begging us to leave this site.  My website is under attack from scammer sites hotlinking my images and redirecting to sites that use further hotlinks to ostensibly sell counterfeits of my work, and Google is happy to serve up these thi...
I got it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5gRRQRx8JU
I would like to disable pinning from my entire site, including all images. I have the code: <meta name="pinterest" content="nopin" />...and I believe it goes into the metafield area ( Settings > Custom Data ) What next? Thank you.
OK the cool image magnifier was a nice app, but did not change the huge size of the actual image URL that Shopify was making available to image thieves and scraping software. But this video did!  He gives you the code to eliminate clickable Zoom.http...
