Are you saying that I cannot preview a page template until and unless the theme itself is live and in use? How can I do testing without impacting the live site, if that is the case?

Very odd that this doesn't "just work." How can we get this feature enabled for our shop?
This is backward, and doesn't seem to comply with best standards. I should be able to include or exclude products, not just include.
