Same here! It's been a few days of constantly checking that new orders are removed from display in the brick and mortar store.  
Definitely gives the day a good boost when you hear them coming through! Currently still off on this side, but hopefully they fix the notifications soon!

Hi! This is just a cookie problem on your browser side. What works almost every single time for me is clicking on either "Point of Sale", "Inbox" or any one of the other sales channels that you have installed on your store. It does a bit of rerouting...
Don't worry, it really never happens often. Been on shopify for years and this is only the second time that it's happened to me. Usually sorted quite quick.   
You can't resolve this error, it's a problem on Shopify side. You will need to wait for them to investigate and solve the problem. Just a bit of patience 

A day after I made this post it started working for me again.  I ran Onyx App on my mac and did a clean of all caches and logs. Could also be because I was chatting with support again and they said from their side it worked perfectly. 5 minutes later...
Hope it comes right for you again. I started a chat with support and midway through the chat it started working again. Support say they didn't change anything. Had the same problem for a week, but just happy that it's back again.
