It’s a glitch in Shopify and facebook. Honestly theres nothing we can dountil they fix it.
So I went to go do what you had done and switch the urls back to my new domain, but it looks like it updated on its own. So I guess it's just a waiting game. Thank so much for the advice!
It did say it was suppose to take anywhere from 24-48 hours for the new domain to fully take over but its been 3/4 days since I changed my domain and I experienced the same problem as everyone else. I took Jaquelines advice and switched the url links...
