Can we hear from Shopify that why they don't offer "specific customers" filter for automatic discounts?  This can be extremely helpful and the feature is already in place for other discount types.
We may have to do the same thing, unfortunately.In the data Shopify sends, there is a key in each variant called"metafields", but it is always empty and there is absolutely nothing in thedocs about that.Can someone from Shopify team reply please?

Our largest data field stores vehicle filtment data. We store information before the vehicles that are compatible with the given part the visitor is looking at which could be hundreds of vehicles.
We need to store data into variant metafields that can be longer than 65,536 character limit. Is there any alternative or workaround to do so ?

Thank you for the reply. Is that absolutely the only way to create menu items? Is there anything in the API available for exporting an existing menu item and then importing it back to the store or another store?
Just to be clear, I'm looking for a way to do this other than manually entering the menu items in the Navigation page.

Looking for a way to generate menu items based on a tag, product type, etc. Looks like they only way to do this is manually. Is that right?
