I think you have to use host instead of shopOrigin in createApp.

The way to fix this currently is to manually edit config/settings_data.json from your theme and remove the additional embed block.

I got this working correctly by loading the styles and JS with link and script tags. Only loading them through the schema doesn't work correctly.
